Music Festivals
Participation:
Participation in the following festivals is open to students of Bluebonnet MTA Members, and Non-Bluebonnet MTA Members in the Williamson and surrounding counties.
Enrollment Fees:
Students of Bluebonnet MTA Teachers: $20.00 per festival
Students of Non-Bluebonnet MTA Teachers: $25.00 per festival

2012-2013 Fall Festival
Chair - Lillian Simmons"Master Composers and Hymn Festival"
Eligibility : Students grades K - 12 and adult students
Student must play a piece by a master composer or an American composer, or a hymn.
The second piece may be any piece of student's choice.
Pieces by master composers must be original versions. Arrangements of hymns are allowed.
Computer printouts of pieces are allowed. Printouts must be accompanied by Release. Click Here for a copy of the Release.
No photocopies are permitted.
Two pieces are required. Pieces must be memorized.
Musicianship is required.
Audition Times: Sunday, November 11, from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm - confirmed
The Festival will be held at Concordia University in Cedar Park

2012-2013 Spring Festival

"Sonatina Festival". This festival will be open to the public.
Eligibility : Students grades K - 12 and adult students
One sonatina or sonata piece and one piece of student's choice will be required.
Musicianship is required.
